AI Schema Generator ("we", "us", "our") operates the Schema AI service at aischemagen.com and the Schema AI WordPress plugin. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

When you register, we collect:

  • Name (optional)
  • Encrypted password
  • Plan and subscription status

2.2 Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including:

  • Number of AI schema generations per month
  • Schema types generated
  • Connected WordPress site URLs
  • API key usage logs

2.3 Content Data

When you use the "Generate with AI" feature, the page content you submit (title, body text, post type) is sent to our servers and then to OpenAI for processing. We do not permanently store your page content — it is used only to generate the schema markup and is not retained after processing.

2.4 Technical Data

  • IP address (for rate limiting and security)
  • Browser type and version
  • WordPress version and site URL of connected sites

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the Service
  • To enforce usage limits based on your subscription plan
  • To send transactional emails (account creation, password reset, billing)
  • To improve the Service and fix bugs
  • To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorised access

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 OpenAI

Your page content is transmitted to OpenAI for AI processing. OpenAI processes this data under their own privacy policy. We use the API in a way that does not allow OpenAI to train on your data by default. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

4.2 Railway

Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Railway. Your data is stored on Railway-managed servers. See Railway's Privacy Policy.

4.3 Vercel

Our frontend is hosted on Vercel. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. API keys are stored securely in your WordPress database and transmitted only over HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days
  • Page content submitted for schema generation is not permanently stored
  • Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time (which may affect your ability to use the Service)

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy
